Project Overview

The Interior Design of the KH Headquarter, a dynamic and innovative workspace designed to foster productivity, creativity, and sustainability. The headquarters spans 6,000 m², with a capacity to accommodate 300 employees. The building is conceptualized as a horizontal skyscraper, measuring 200 meters in length. It is a transformation of a former factory building, where the walls were peeled back to expose only the structural columns and beams. This design approach allows for the creation of a flexible and modern working environment that promotes an open, functional, and eco-conscious office space.

The headquarters is divided into three key compartments: the entrance and information area, the inner garden, and the offices, design studios, and refectory. This layout is carefully planned to support a variety of activities, from administrative work to creative design and social interactions. The design aims to reflect the prestige and identity of KH, incorporating modern materials and elements to achieve a sophisticated, forward-thinking atmosphere.

Design Concept

The core concept behind the design of the KH Headquarter revolves around prestige, identity, and sustainability. The building is designed to reflect the company’s strong brand presence and forward-looking ethos while maintaining a focus on ecological balance and modern functionality.

The design starts with the entrance area, which is a key focal point, introducing visitors to the company's identity. The large reception desk, made from high-end materials such as granite and wooden panels, sets the tone for the space, offering a modern interpretation of prestige and sophistication. The overall design emphasizes linear editing, with clean lines, open spaces, and modern design elements that reflect both innovation and professionalism.

The interior spaces are thoughtfully planned to balance functionality and aesthetics, using daylight, natural materials, and plants to create an environment that enhances employee well-being. The incorporation of biophilic design principles — integrating natural elements into the office — brings a sense of nature and tranquility to the workplace.

Impact

Enhanced Employee Well-Being

The integration of natural elements, ample daylight, and biophilic design principles contributes to a healthier and more comfortable working environment. The inner garden, natural materials, and open spaces encourage a sense of tranquility and well-being, which can lead to improved employee satisfaction and productivity.

Fostering Creativity and Innovation

The flexible office spaces and design studios are tailored to foster creativity and collaboration. By offering spaces that can be adapted to different needs, the building encourages innovation and teamwork. The connection to nature and natural light enhances the overall creative atmosphere, allowing employees to thrive in an inspiring environment.

Sustainability and Eco-Conscious Design

The emphasis on sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems reflects the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. The design not only creates a comfortable and stylish workspace but also sets a standard for eco-friendly office buildings in the modern era.

Brand Identity and Prestige

The design of the KH Headquarter reinforces the company’s prestige and identity, with every detail carefully considered to reflect its values. The modern materials, sophisticated layout, and attention to design elements all contribute to a building that embodies the company's vision and stands as a symbol of its success.

Functionality and Flexibility

The flexibility of the office layouts allows for adaptability, catering to the diverse needs of the workforce. Whether for collaborative projects, focused individual work, or creative brainstorming, the building supports a range of functions, ensuring an efficient and dynamic workspace.

Key Design Features

Horizontal Skyscraper Layout

The 200-meter-long building is designed as a horizontal skyscraper, creating a sense of openness and spaciousness. The layout allows for maximum flexibility in workspaces, with large open areas that encourage collaboration and movement. This unique approach offers an alternative to traditional vertical office spaces, reflecting the company’s modern and innovative approach.

The Entrance and Information Area

The entrance area is designed to establish the company’s identity right from the start. A striking reception desk made of granite and wooden panels serves as the centerpiece, providing a sophisticated first impression. The materials used reflect both prestige and modernity, setting the tone for the rest of the headquarters.

The Inner Garden

A key feature of the design is the inner garden, which serves as a natural, green oasis within the building. This garden area is integrated into the core design to create a serene environment, offering employees a place to relax and recharge. The inclusion of plants, trees, and natural elements contributes to both aesthetic appeal and employee well-being.

Flexible Office Spaces

The office areas are designed with flexibility in mind. Open-plan workstations and modular furniture allow for adaptability, enabling spaces to be easily reconfigured for different team sizes and functions. The workspaces are designed to encourage collaboration while also providing private spaces for focused tasks.

Design Studios

The building includes design studios equipped with modern, functional spaces that support creativity and innovation. These studios are intended for teams working on design and development projects, with ample natural light and an inspiring layout to stimulate creativity.

Refectory

The refectory offers a modern and comfortable dining area where employees can socialize, take breaks, and refresh. The design of this area emphasizes comfort and community, providing a relaxing space to balance work with downtime.

Use of Daylight

Daylight plays a significant role in the design of the KH Headquarter. Large windows and strategically placed skylights allow natural light to flood the interior, reducing reliance on artificial lighting and contributing to a healthier work environment. This approach aligns with the building’s sustainability goals and enhances the overall aesthetic of the space.

Sustainability and Ecological Design

A major focus of the design is to create a new working ecological environment. Sustainable materials, energy-efficient systems, and a thoughtful layout that maximizes natural light are key elements. The building’s design minimizes its environmental impact while promoting an eco-conscious workplace. The incorporation of plants throughout the space adds to the overall sense of environmental responsibility.

Linear Design Elements

The design emphasizes a linear editing approach, with clean, minimalistic lines and thoughtful integration of design elements. This approach ensures the office spaces are both visually appealing and functional, creating an efficient flow throughout the building.

Prestige and Identity

Every design choice is aligned with the company’s commitment to prestige and identity. From the materials used in the reception area to the overall layout of the building, every element reflects the company’s professionalism and modern approach to business.
